I DO NOT CREATE FORMS I REVEAL WHAT ALREADY EXISTS WITHIN MATTER.

Art prints conceived as autonomous works, where matter, light and form shape essential images. Produced with particular attention to printquality and detail.

Studies in alluminium

I begin by cutting, folding and arranging separate
sheets of aluminium. The provisional structure lets me explore
balance, openings and the direction of light.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

From material to image

Each work begins with an exploration of form in
physical materials such as aluminum, paper or mesh. Separate pieces
are shaped and arranged into a provisional model. I then photograph
it and work with light, colour and detail through digital editing, including the use of AI, working with light, color and detail
until the final image emerges.

The images shown
here are illustrative studies of starting models. They are not
photographs documenting the creation of specific finished works.

The physical model

A provisional model made from separate pieces of
aluminium. Its folds, joints and gaps remain visible: this is a study
of form before photography and digital editing.
